Podcast Wasteland #003 3-2-2007
Intro
Thanks to all the people that downloaded the last podcast. I really appreciate it. The video podcast embargo has been hard.
Around the Podosphere: A summary of podcasts that I have listened to this week.
1. DSC 552-555: Adam’s in SF and attending musicals, more stuff from Adam’s first gen ipod, wacky guitar licks, and a cranky geek?. www.dailysourcecode.com
2. The Tech Guy 329: starting to feel like Car Talk for geeks. Leo solves the world’s problems. Really getting into the old radio feel.
3. TWIT 89: welcomes CNET’s Veronica Belmont and is a breath of fresh air, Merlin Mann is just plain funny, and Is it just me or was Dvorak more cranky than usual?
4. Buzz Out Loud 418-420: CNET’s podcast of exactly 30 minutes. Tom whines about his Apple TV cables and I consider dumping the podcast because I have to register with CNET to GET THE FREEKIN’ SHOW NOTES!
5. Entrepreneurial Thought Leaders Seminar (Stamford): World problems panel was too boring SKIPPED.
6. iLifeZone 26: Tip Monster show. If you have a Mac, you will find out more about it in this half hour than anywhere else. Take special note of what you can do with the Preview function of the Mac.
7. Wingin’ It Voicemail 97 and Show 98: Recovery after the drunken debauchel of last week. Stories are exchanged about what happened after the show (RIP Mike’s ice maker).
8. Slice of SciFi Voicemail 97 and Show 98: Great interview with Earl Newton the creative force behind Stranger Things a new vidcast that promises to be very interesting.
9. Speaking of Beer 24: Charlie talks Japanese beer (tastes like miso) and he starts his first batch of homebrew.

Special mention: Something to Be Desired is really good www.somethingtobedesired.com. Start watching now and wait for the review next week.
Because I have to change my Podsafe Music ID from my old podcast, there will be no featured artist this week. I’ll get that set up for next week.
Have a great week!
