I have tried a variety of treats on Dipstick with mixed results. In contrast to my mother's cat, Midnight, she doesn't seem to like catnip very much. I have bought almost every pouch, canister, or bag of cat treats and the hands down, ultimate favorite is Whiskas Temptations, creamy dairy flavor (in the purple bag), although the other flavors of Temptations are also acceptable. They are crunchy on the inside and soft on the inside.

All I have to do is shake the bag and she comes running from wherever she is to get her little pile of treats. I used to keep them on a low bookshelf next to her kitty house, and have had to move them to the top of the fridge because she jumps up at night or while I am at work, gets the bag by either knocking it off of the shelf or picking it up in her teeth, and claws it open to get at the creamy, crunchy goodness inside. I swear they are like kitty crack.
I was a little afraid that she was eating too many in a day so I cut back to about 10 each, 2 times a day. Whiskas recently changed the package slightly to indicate that there are only 2 calories per treat, so I feel ok with giving her that many.
They aren't really expensive. In Salt Lake they were about $1.50 a bag. Here in Philadelphia, they are more expensive in the grocery store, but actually cheaper ar PetSmart, so I get them there.
If you have cats in your life, get them Whiskas Temptations in whatever flavor they like, but I have it from multiple sources that the Purple bag is the bomb with many cats. It is Dipstick approved!
