From the moment that I encountered this virus that emerged from some kids nose at my daughters day care, I knew it was going to be trouble.
See, for a "germ farm" of kids they are used to being perpetually sick. I was breaking a record that I hadn't had since my daughter was born...actually being well for over three months.
Then some snot nosed kids incubates a pandemic (and we were worried about avian flu) and suddenly I can't shake this thing.
My routine:
1. Get up with a heavy feeling in my lungs.
2. Take a shower. Heavy stuff loosens...coughing commences.
3. Coughing continues right up until I leave for work.
4. At work I put on my "game face" and try not to cough too much.
5. Get home and crash hard. Voice disappears and I have an unnerving desire to watch old '70's and '80's Doctor Who episodes and have a bowel of chicken broth.
That's pretty much been my routine for the last week. One day (I promise) we will be getting "Podcasts that I Love" out as well as some surprise news for you podcast fans that have been so nice to comment about my podcast reviews.
Sorry for not posting more. I have a HUGE list of stuff to review (mainly old '70's and '80's Doctor Who episodes) that I've been diligently jotting in my moleskine.
For now...courage.
