SNOW II: The Wrath of Snow

Yesterday was a fun welcome back to the state of Minnesota.

We had around 15 inches of snow yesterday. Needless to say, I was shoveling a ton (and my arms hurt like crap today). It's funny how you tend to forget things like snow accumulation and snow drifts after you leave for a place that gets marginal snowfall (though of course the recent posting by Dr. Sue leads me to believe that Salt Lake got more than its fair share this last week).

The highlight of my day was a massive 5 foot pile of snow that the snow plow deposited in my driveway. Thanks to my anonymous neighbor for getting rid of every one's pile on the block with his snow plow.

Here are a few pics of what it was like BEFORE it started to snow. This was only the wind, not any more significant precipitation. I was too pissed to take pics after it snowed.
